Was $6.50 and couldn't maintain the pace when 4th last run at Townsville. Expected to rebound. Jockey Ryan Wiggins and trainer Fred Wieland can't be overlooked. No surprise to see solid support in the betting.

Last of four (Townsville) last month; a winner over C&D; brings winning form to the table and prospects.

Broke maiden at Cairns 28 Aug. Found enough to place in small field at Bowen. Makes a strong case in this company.

ILB

Good effort to finish 2nd beaten by 1 1/4L last time at Bowen. Ben Kennedy and Tom Button are a formidable team. Should race on the speed. Expected to be competitive.

A previous winner here; seems to have stepped up on previous form the last twice; finishing runner-up was a good effort last month (Bowen) over 5f (handicap); has to be feared.

On a quick turnaround. Improved to place when 3rd last time at Townsville and can find a nice position from the draw. Should muster plenty of early toe. Commands respect.

Has raised her game the last twice but winless with run of consecutive defeats standing at eight; minor honours in a handicap last week (7-5, Townsville); hard enough to fancy as regularly been coming up a bit short lately.

On a quick back up. Jumped at $2.30 and disappointing display when 8th last time at Gordonvale. Will be facing a challenge.

Yet to get off the mark and losing run stands at eight; finished behind Bank Interest at Gordonvale last Saturday when last of eight in a maiden; others more persuasive as this is a fairly competitive event.
